In the village Somino on the highway A-114 reconstructed unregulated pedestrian crossings

At the end of August 2015 on the site of a line of A-114 in the village Somino Boksitogorsky district made a comprehensive arrangement unregulated pedestrian crossings.

Two uncontrolled pedestrian crossings in the area have been equipped with an autonomous system of LED lighting of pedestrian crossings, traffic signs “COMP-sign” from an internal LED traffic lights traffic T.7. “Combo” with a backup power system. These settings are intended to further attract the attention of drivers of vehicles.

It was also installed bollards traffic signal C3 “comp”, which are an important element of the arrangement of roads. They help road users to easily navigate in the dark on such road sections as steep and winding turns, dangerous intersections.

Route A-114 – Russian highway Vologda – Novaya Ladoga. Length – 531 km. It passes through the Vologda and Leningrad regions (331 km on the territory of the Vologda Oblast and 200 km on the territory of the Leningrad region). The bulk of the traffic up trucks, passenger traffic is low, except for the section between Cherepovets and Vologda, where there is heavy traffic of all modes of transport.
